1) April tuition is due Also, May and June Tuition must be paid in full through June by May22, 2010. If not paid your child will not dance in the recital. I am being very firm on this point. Please do not have me asking for the money at the rehearsal.

2) COSTUMES : All available costumes (meaning those I have received so far), will be distributed starting the week of April 19 through April 24th during class time.
In order to receive your costumes, all outstanding balances, in both tuition and costumes must be paid in full, through and including April .
AGAIN THIS YEAR! If you are more than 1 month in arrears (meaning you owe more than April Tuition) you will not receive your costumes until all tuition has been paid up through and including June. Also this payment will be in cash only. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made. If you are not sure if you owe anything , please check at the desk. If , in the past you have bounced checks, only cash will be accepted for the final payments. Please do not wait until the day that costumes are being handed out , to find out you still owe! I do not like seeing children cry because they cannot take their costumes home.
NO COSTUMES will be given out to unescorted children, from Lil Pros and down. . Parents or supervising adults must accompany the children as they try on costumes ,to make sure they fit, and that all the pieces are there. To facilitate the fittings, on that day, please wear a body suit and tights. (Not leggings and a tee shirt). Also, bring a paper bag to put the costume pieces in. The studio will NOT be responsible for lost pieces after you leave, and all pieces are necessary for participation in the recital. Also, if on that day, moms or other females could help with the costumes, it would be a lot easier.

3) PHOTOS: Picture date: May 1-2 , all day. Schedules will be handed out with the costumes.
Photos can be paid by, CASH ,CHECKS AND CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED .
PLEASE CONSIDER TAKING PICTURES, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE THEM, BUT FOR THE CLASS PICTURE , IT IS ALWAYS NICE TO HAVE A FULL CLASS.

4) We are looking for parent volunteers to help backstage on a show when your child is not performing. Help is needed with supervising the students: helping them change, bathroom duty, etc. Please, we cannot do the show without your help. Sign up a front desk.

5) Parents, please check your children's shoes. They outlawed binding children's feet about 200 years ago! Some of them are very tight! If your child needs tap, jazz, lyrical ,gym or ballet slippers, I will continue to supply shoes, but if I need to order them we need to do so now.

6) TICKETS: will go on sale Saturday, April 24, 2010 starting at 9:00am, until 1pm in the Riverhead dance studio. Tickets are $22.00 and are sold on a first come basis. No tickets will be held on reserve and none will be sold before April 24th .

7) Due to tickets sales on the above date, the Riverhead reception area will be very crowded. Only parents of students taking class will be allowed to remain in the reception area. All other parents ,students, etc., will remain outside the building until your number is called. The numbers will be distributed starting at 8:00 am. Tickets can be purchased by cash or Check. Credit card payments will be subjected to a 5% penalty.

9) ALL JOURNAL ADS must be in by April 18,2010. So, please get those ads in!!
With out ads, there will be no souvenir journal.

10) RECITAL Rehearsal June 4. Shows June 5th . Program will be posted in the studio shortly.

11) ALL MONEYS MUST BE PAID : up in full by May 22nd , in order to participate in the recital. Some of you have been very lax in getting your payments in on time. Please have everything taken care of by the 22nd . I do not want to have to chase you down at the recital. Cash only for all studio business after May 30 ,2010, not including summer trips.

12)Competition groups : 1) All Star Power money is past due, 2) Money for Hall of Fame is now due.

13) On Saturday, May 2 , we will still have all regular classes. Pictures will begin early afternoon.

14)Performing Group: we have a show at Dowling College, same place as the Christmas show on Thursday night, April 29th at 7:00pm. We will be performing JAI HO- CAKEWALK and the trio, CLOSER.
