a ballroom dance instructor from Greenport has been teaching ballroom dancing for the past two years. Landon studied ballroom dancing and took his instructor course at Lovin' Life Ministries in New York City who brought in instructors from Harvard.
Landon started his career at Greenport Elementary school where he taught the first grade and kindergarten the Cha-Cha. He taught the Southold, Mattituck, and Greenport NJROTC in preparation for the Military Ball and taught seven couples to do exhibition dancing. He also taught the Southold Interact how to ballroom dance in preparation for the Senior Citizen Dance they were hosting. Last year Landon taught private lessons at the Bego Ezair Hotel and started a Ballroom Dance Club at the Eastern Campus of Suffolk Community College. Landon has not only taught in the U.S but has taught internationally in Korea and Jamaica.
Landon has always loved dance ever since he was ten or eleven years old when he watched a Fred Astaire movie and knew immediately he was destined to dance. Landon truly enjoys ballroom because of it's strong respect between the lady and the gentlemen and the responsibility and confidence that comes with the dance. Landon is very excited to be teaching at Redancer's.
